Amelia was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012, after articling for the Ministry of the Attorney General. Since then, she has had a varied career working as a criminal defence lawyer, a policy lawyer and for the last 9 years practicing civil litigation.

Amelia began acting for plaintiffs in 2016 at a well-known firm in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, after being called to the BC Bar. She then went on to act for defendants in BC, Alberta, and Ontario in a variety of civil litigation matters, including professional negligence, motor vehicle accident claims, slip and falls, and employment matters. Amelia returned to Ontario in 2022.

Amelia re-joined the plaintiff personal injury bar in 2024 and is happy to be back in a role where she can help her clients directly.

Amelia lives with her partner, two young kids, and two teenage dachshunds. She is on the Board of Directors for the Guelph-Wellington Community Legal Clinic and is Co-chair of the Board of Directors for Oxfam Canada. Amelia also enjoys running (slowly).
