Rob has deep roots in the Hamilton area and cares greatly about the community. He understands that when someone is seriously injured they are extremely vulnerable both physically and financially. He takes great pride in the amazing accomplishments that his team has been able to effect in both restoring health and obtaining full financial recovery for his clients.

Rob is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School. While in Law school Robert was instrumental in helping to establish the first legal aid clinic set up in a Canadian Federal Penitentiary at Dorchester New Brunswick.

He has been representing the interests of accident victims in since 1976. With the advent of no-fault automobile insurance in the 1990s he established one of the first multi-discipline personal injury law firms in the Niagara Peninsula utilizing health providers to internally case manage claims. This innovative approach to the delivery of legal services ensured that, in addition to recovery of damages against the at fault driver, accident victims maximized their entitlement to all available no fault benefits, including income replacement benefits, medical rehabilitation, attendant care and housekeeping.

Rob has a solid reputation for standing up to large insurance companies and forcing them to accept full responsibility for the conduct of their defendant insured. Rob and the Findlay law firm have in recent years achieved some of the largest jury verdicts provided by Hamilton juries.
